Internal body shaming, and the negative dialogue that surrounds it, is spurred by the [read: vulnerable, usually inaccurate, highly exaggerated, ill-advised, etc.] voice of insecurity. To disable it and remind yourself of who is running the show, allow this voice to be separate from your own. Give her a name, a voice, a persona.

My inner critic is my 10-year-old self. She can be v v annoying but I know she thinks she is protecting me. So in my kindest voice, I tell her to “Sit down and please be quiet. I am driving this bus, young lady.” A few of the other names my clients have come up with include Vivian, Agnes, and Betty.

What name does your inner critic have? Start to talk back to her. And be kind, but don’t be afraid to give her a little (or a lot) of sass.

I love this on so many levels.
Surrender can be a toughy because it requires trust.
If you like to always be in control, this can be a challenge.
I say this from experience... It's taken me many years to get to a place of trusting to allow surrender more often than ambitious tension.
Having gone through adrenal burnout and come out the other side, I can say, it has definitely had an impact on my energy levels.

Time to get sweaty on Sunday! Like this post if you're into morning workouts! 🌄💪💖 I'm at the gym in the A.M. 99% of the time for a few reasons.

1. It sets a positive and productive tone to my day. I'm way more likely to get stuff done when I start off with a sweat.
2. Energy boosting! This plays into my productivity levels for sure, as I have the motivation to make it through the day without hitting a wall and crashing midday.
3. The sooner I work out, the less likely I am to talk myself out of it as the day goes on. If you find yourself skipping your evening workouts because you're just "too tired", then try to schedule your exercise earlier on. It's way more likely to happen!

So to sum it up, prioritize those fitness sessions as early as you realistically can. And don't shrug it off if you're simply not a morning person. Cause I never used to be either, but after sticking with a morning routine that gives me the energy, the confidence, and the motivation to achieve my goals and sustain my results, I wouldn't have it any other way! 💪💪💪
