I created the Challenge to help people learn how to transition their pet’s diet to one that provides them with all the nutrients they need for optimum wellness and longevity.
Perhaps you’ve been thinking about making changes to your pet’s diet but don’t know how.
Perhaps you’re confused by all the food options out there.
Perhaps you were just waiting for the right time to enlist the help of a pet nutritionist to ensure your fur baby is getting everything they need from their food.
The #RealFood4Pets Challenge is here right now to help you. It’s entirely free and is packed with resources to help your pet achieve optimum health.
Registration for the Challenge closes on Friday, 22 June. Sign up now via the link in my bio xx
While a clean dog is always a nice thing to have around the house, proper grooming provides more than the pleasant scent of a freshly shampooed pooch. Below are five benefits of grooming your dog:
1. Grooming maintains a healthy coat & skin.
2. Brushing, cleaning their teeth, clipping nails, and bathing your pup allows your groomer to inspect your pet and notice any abnormalities.
3. Regular nail trims not only help keep the nails short but helps reinforce healthy foot structure and posture, and reduces the risk of infection
4. If you begin taking your puppy to the groomer at a young age it provides great training for getting them used to having their ears cleaned, being bathed and having their nails clipped.
5. Clean pups not only get more cuddles but have you noticed how happy your dog is after they’ve been bathed? They feel great!

We had 30 minutes till sunset and a lot of wiggles to get out. Piper and I headed to the river by our house and I took a moment to wade through my thoughts from the day. We stopped to eat mulberries from a trailside tree, and Piper cooled off in the river. I'm practicing reminding myself that adventure is what I make of it, it's available close by my home, it doesn't always have to be epic.

Rescue Pet of the Week! Meet Oscar! Oscar is a 1 year old mix, rescued from the streets of the Dominican Republic. Oscar had a tough start to life, but has adjusted remarkably well to life in Canada and is ready to find his forever family. Oscar is very loving and affectionate and full of goofy, puppy energy. He would flourish with a family who has the time for plenty of walks to burn his energy. Oscar is great with other dogs and would do best with a fur sibling to show him the ropes! A backyard would be extremely helpful for housetraining and providing him off-leash time and exercise. Visit @caninehaven to learn more!
