Goes on holiday in three days... decides to make pasta... why am I so back to front 🤷🏻‍♀️ this was so worth the carbs before Marbs 🍝 Aubergine & Chickpea Pesto Pasta 🍆 life hack to lower carb pasta: load it with veggies & protein so you don’t need as much pasta to fill your plate 🍽️ recipe : 1/2 aubergine cut into cubes • 1/3 red onion • 1/2 carrot • a few cherry toms • handful of frozen peas • 3 tbsp chickpeas • 1 cup kale • 1 tbsp tomato purée • 1 clove garlic • fry light spray oil • juice of 1/2 lemon • 2 tsp reduces fat red Pesto • 1 tbsp Greek or soy yogurt • 1 tsp mixed Italian herbs... in a pan spray some fry light oil and add the chopped red onion, carrot & aubergine and cook until soft • boil the kettle and cook 50g pasta (I used wholewheat spelt fusilli) • add garlic, tomato purée & Italian herbs to the veg & cook for a further 5 mins • steam the kale (I do it in the microwave) • add the frozen peas & chickpeas to the pan & the kale at the very end.. when the pasta is cooked add the 2 tsp red pesto & 1 tbsp yogurt to the pasta then add the veggies and stir well 🍝 I added some chicken to help my three day doms 🙂

Breakfast this morning was Chocolate PB Swirl Smoothie Bowl. In the smoothie base I used spinach, one banana, ice, almond milk, ground chia powder and chocolate vega essentials. For the toppings I swirled in some chocolate PB Fit, slices of a half banana and some pumpkin seeds. 😍 This protein and fiber packed smoothie is perfect for me today because we have a busy day at work. 📝 A few notes about protein (NOTE-eins?):

✅ A good amount of foods have protein in them, but the crucial aspect in achieving your optimal intake is in consuming foods with especially high amounts of it, but with lower amounts of other macros ⬇️

👉🏼 For example, lean chicken usually has somewhere around 20g of protein per 3-4 oz, typically with no carbs and very little fat...

🙌🏼 Almonds are also somewhat high in protein. BUT, would I substitute chicken in my meal with almonds because of that reason? 🤔

👎🏼 Probably not, because not only are they not as high in protein, but they're also extremely high in fat, making them less ideal, since I'd rather use those calories on other foods 🍩

💯 The idea of this chart, which is not ALL-inclusive, but definitely provides some solid options, is to show you how wide of a range you really have in choices for protein, assuming you take all of their total calories/macros into consideration before eating them.

Ich erkläre den #vizefreitag heute einfach mal zur Cheesecake time 😊 wer macht mit?
Bei mir gibt’s nämlich heute diesen leckeren Apfel-coco-loco-Cheesecake 😍: Für den Käsekuchen:
🍏 400g Skyr
🍏 20g Kokosmehl
🍏 20g Whey
🍏 1 Ei
🍏 10g Speisestärke
🍏 3g Smacktastic Cocoloco von @rockanutrition
Für das Topping:
🍏 17g Vanillepudding Pulver 🍏 100g Apfelmark
🍏 6g Kokosraspel
Für den Käsekuchen das Ei schaumig schlagen, alle weiteren Zutaten hinzugeben und gut verrühren. Teig in eine 16cm Form geben, bei 180 Grad 35-40 Minuten backen und den Kuchen im Ofen auskühlen lassen. In der Zwischenzeit Puddingpulver mit 200ml Wasser kochen und den Pudding mit dem Apfelmark verrühren. Wem das noch nicht süß genug ist gibt einfach noch etwas Süße hinzu. Dann den Pudding auf dem Käsekuchen verteilen und über Nacht im Kühlschrank auskühlen lassen. Kokosraspel drauf und genießen.
Der ganze Kuchen hat gerade mal 670 kcal bei 72g Protein... das ist doch mal ne „Sünde“ wert 😍

Apa sih Zat Pembangun itu?

FERRERO ROCHER FIT #highprotein Cuando lo exquisito se cruza con lo Healthy Fit: nacen estas bombitas de amor 💕 Mata antojos en 3, 2, 1....
-1 taza de proteína en polvo: usé la vegana nueva de @protein.project es Argentina y de MUY buena calidad.
-2/3 taza de avellanas enteras (reemplazable por mantequilla de maní o almendras 1/2 taza)
-1 cucharada de aceite de coco @gardenoflife -pizca de sal marina
-endulzante a gusto
-1 cucharada de coco rallado
-3 cucharadas de choco amargo picado @drcacaochocolates 👉🏻procesar las avellanas hasta formar una pasta. Tiene que ser con procesadora o licuadora potente. Verter en un bowl.
👉🏻llevar aceite de coco y choco al micro y calentar unos segundos hasta que se derrita. Verter en el bowl.
👉🏻integrar el resto de los ingredientes y mezclar.
👉🏻si la masa no es maleable porque está muy blanda dejar en la heladera hasta que tenga una consistencia tipo masa de cookies. Armar las bolitas con las manos y pasar x almendras o avellanas picadas para decorar y agregar extra crunch. 👉🏻las pueden guardar en un tupper en la heladera o hasta en el freezer e ir comiendo de snack, postre: LO QUE DE.

HOW TO LOSE FAT AND BUILD MUSCLE AT THE SAME TIME by @jmaxfitness

Ahh, the holy grail of fitness. Is it really possible to build muscle and lose fat at the same time?
-
The answer is "yes". The newer you are to training and nutrition, the easier this goal is. In fact, most newbies can easily lose 5-10lbs of fat and gain 20-30lbs of muscle in a single year.

As you train more, this goal is more difficult, but not impossible. It's easier to lose more fat than the amount of muscle you build. This means that the scale will be going down even though you'll be building muscle. For example, you may lose 10lbs of fat, but gain 2-3lbs of muscle. The scale shows a weight loss of 7-8lbs, but your body composition will be drastically different.

The key is to eat in a Caloric deficit. You want to eat enough to lose 0.5% of your bodyweight per week. So if you're 200lbs, this means losing about 1lb per week. Get 1g/lb of protein, so if you're 200lbs, that's 200g of protein per day.

Lastly, you will need to train to build muscle. Train each body part 2x per week and focus on getting stronger. Also, never give up. Be consistent and keep on pushing through. You need to have a mentality like Arya Stark. Keep going!

Białka ubijamy, dodajemy resztę składników i delikatnie mieszamy. Ciasto wylewamy na blachę wyłożoną papierem do pieczenia i wstawiamy do piekarnika na około 15 min. Studzimy
✔️BIALA MASA 📍100g twarogu chudego 📍200g jogurtu naturalnego 📍15g żelatyny +wrzątek 📍aromat śmietankowy + słodzik
Żelatynę rozpuszczamy we wrzątku. Twaróg i jogurt blendujemy z aromatem i slodzidlem i niewielka ilością wody. Łyżka masy hartujemy żelatynę, dolewamy ja do masy i znowu blendujemy.
Biszkopt koniecznie nasaczamy czym lubicie ( sam w sobie jest dość suchy) i wylewamy biała masę. Wstawiamy do lodówki żeby lekko zastygla.

The importance of active recovery!
For me personally, I find complete "rest days" of sitting about and doing very little make my muscles sore for a lot longer. I have found that doing light stretching and a light run very benefical for my recovery the day after a heavy session.

There are a number of benefits in participating in active recovery the day following a very intensive activity. This is especially the case for those who have competed in sports that demand great amounts of endurance and physical effort, such as a football match in my case. By engaging in a follow-up activity with a lower intensity the next day you can minimize the affects of (DOMS)sore muscles while still maintaining the strength that occurred from your event.

🍳 There’s a huge difference between healthiness in terms of micronutrients and healthy in terms of something being weight-loss friendly…

🥓 Unfortunately, a classic go-to breakfast for many, as shown on the left, is neither one 😳

🥞 When opting for an overall “healthy” breakfast, I’d advise the following👇🏼:

🔑 Include some foods high in vitamins & minerals

🔑 Have a main source of protein

🔑 Try not to go overboard on carbs/fats, but whether or not you do, be sure to factor them into your macros for the day

🔑 Aim for the carbs you DO eat to be complex instead of simple (wheat bread over white, for example)

👉🏼 No need to comment if you don’t eat breakfast 😂 That’s fine. At the end of the day, if your goal is weight loss, be in a calorie deficit, if your goal is weight gain, be in a surplus, and either way, get the bulk of your calories from nutrient-dense sources 🍓✌🏼

Spätstück... bei euch wahrscheinlich schon Mittagszeit oder? Ich hatte heute auf jeden Fall mal Lust auf etwas Anderes, also gab es Protein-Pancakes - laktosefrei und weizenfrei 🤗
Die Zubereitung geht super schnell:
🌸 120g Dinkelmehl & 1 EL Weinsteinbackpulver & 2 EL Vanille Protein (ich habe das Vegan Protein Vanille von @nu3_de benutzt) vermischen
🌸 1 Ei & 150ml Mandelmilch oder Hafermilch dazu
🌸 frische Vanille oder Vanillearoma und nach belieben Süße (zB Xucker, Agavendicksaft oder Rohrzucker) 🌸 1-3 Minuten in der Pfanne brutzeln (in Pflanzenfett oder Kokosöl) 🌸 Fertig 🎉

Ich habe Erdbeeren und Blaubeeren dazu gegessen und als Topping Kokosblütensirup verwendet 🤤👍🏼

Who likes the sound of high protein oat brownie batter? 🙋

Ingredients

1 cup Almond Milk
1/2 cup Low Fat Greek yogurt
2 tbs Cocoa Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
2 tbs Maple Syrup
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1 scoop Target Whey Chocolate
Instructions

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl
Divide between 2 mugs
Cover and refrigerate overnight
Top with chopped nuts
And it's ready to serve! 👌
