What I’m about to say is probably going to surprise the heck out of some of you! 😬

This whole “business” thing hasn’t always been my “thang”.
I actually feel bad saying this now but I “made fun” of the girls I saw promoting their businesses and such..... ewwww it feels dirty even saying it!
But it’s the truth. I was a “hater” until one day I decided that I wanted to be financial free, I wanted to be able to stay home with my little family and I didnt want to have to worry about clocking into a job.
And that’s when it all changed for me. I have set EXTREMELY high goals for myself this year and I fully intend to reach them.
But I wouldn’t be able to without this side business that I “made fun” of for so long. 🙈

I know we hear this all the time but IM SERIOUS! Don’t judge it before you try it.
If you want to live a certain way, do it!
If you want to feel a certain way, feel it!
Don’t allow fear to get in your way. I did that for so long and I could have been so much further in my business if I would have just cut that ish out!
Be unapologetically YOU.
It’s worth it. I promise.

Glute focused training session went down in dis here gym earlier today - testing some of my #JuicyBootyJune workouts. I was pretty impressed with the equipment.
.
Who says you can’t get it in, even in a hotel? Even if the hotel gym weren’t on point, I would have still made it work!
.
So, this here Hotel Gym has dumbbells up to 50 pounds, a cable machine with pull-up handles, medicine balls, and an adjustable bench, some mats, a Bosu ball, 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and a spin bike. I think they had one band, lol.
.
As evidenced in the photo, I have my booty band, also known as a Hip Circle. I also have with me a Jump Rope, my 12 Pound Vest, some other bands, my TRX, and Valslides just in case I needed them.
.
I hear so many women say they don’t have the time! Well, you do if it’s a priority to you - you’ll find the time! You can get it where you can fit it in - even if it’s 15, 20, or 30 minutes, you can get it in - your training sessions don’t have to be an hour all the time. You don’t need any fancy equipment, just some dumbbells, a band or just your bodyweight. Drop the perfection and get your lift on so that you can stay feeling good inside and out even if you're busy.

Be flexible, be adaptable, and ditch the perfection so that you can still get it in!

I slept so soundly last night without kids in the bed with me so the last thing I wanted to do was get out of that cozy slumber! We know the #shoulders are composed of the #anterior #lateral and #posterior #deltoids. This snip bit focuses on two slow #reps of my go to #latraises. I have a #labrum repaired as of 2008 and i just wish i knew slower and less was better, but it took more pain and age to learn this. Nontheless, i like a pause in between on the raise. As i come up im engaging purely the lats with #elbows in.
Then my #negative is equally effective if not more as i purposely #tense up and go back #neutral as slowly as possible. Give it a whirl. So my mom, sisters and I are in Sioux Falls having a girls weekend! We are having a blast! We decided to stay in a hotel last night and I can’t tell you how excited I was when I found out they had an exercise room!!

I would have NEVER cared before you guys. I would have never woke up early, by myself, to go work out. I would have never upped my weights and pushed myself.

But I knew it would help my body. I knew it would keep me on track. I knew I would feel so much better. And I’m so happy I did. .

BOSU workout in the smallest hotel gym ever!! But I am grateful! The benefits of being a personal trainer is that I can get a workout in wherever I am with little to no equipment. I almost didn’t post this video because I feel like I’ll be judged for the extra bloat, pounds, inches, water weight, whatever the fck you wanna call it. Judged by assholes who think their lives are perfect and can be keyboard bullies. Just saying. If you’re one of them, comments to self or thoughts. (You’re not perfect either ) It’s there. I can say no, I didn’t completely finish my 1st round of #80dayobsession with the results I had achieved during the first 10ish weeks.
Life hit. Emotions are outta whack. My body holds onto stress like an asshole. Today I’m feeling tired but I gave it my all. I rocked my cardio core routine in my hotel room and remembered who the fck I was. Numbers, inches, flubber doesn’t define us as a person and I was able to do some hard moves without giving up. ☝🏻 That’s who the fck I am. A badass, boss ass, fit mama who shows up for herself on the daily. Did you!?! Do you? Do you give yourself 5 min to say blah blah blah and then hit that 💩!?! I think I’m done for the day. Emotionally and mentally. This thing called life has my mind going 100 miles an hour. So I’m thankful for iPads, virtual gyms to stream workouts and these sliders.

{Day41} Added coffee to my shake this morning. I haven’t had coffee since I started drinking my preworkout AKA #momcrack (but totally dad approved too).

I was awaken this morning at 3:15 to trash pickup. 3:15. Really?! 6 maybe by NOT 3:15. Bang. Bang. Bang. And I sleep with ear plugs and my noise machine.
.
I was totally cursing when my alarm went off at 5:30 to workout. I hit snooze and thought, I could sleep another hour and do my workout later.
.
Thank goodness for my preworkout because I wouldn’t have made it through this mornings workout without the extra boost.

Anyone else have annoying hotel wake up story? What do you do to get yourself up after going back to sleep?

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve really enjoyed training for my upcoming Ironman, but DANG it feels good to drip in sweat, within JUST 22 minutes, and in the confines of a 10x10 space. 😅
.
Even while traveling, I make it a goal to move my body. A traveling tip that I just heard is “Maintain at least one healthy habit, no matter what.” That can be eating vegetables at every meal, waking up at your normal time, or maintaining your meditation practice. Just make a promise to keep one good thing going, and then follow through on that commitment. This will create a powerful sense of control and continuity that will make it easier to get back on the health and fitness wagon when you return home.

It’s definitely not your ‘normal routine’, but that’s okay, because that’s part of LIFE. Just control what you can control and enjoy the adventure. 😊 Speaking of adventure, have you been to Raleigh, NC? Curious if you have any ‘must-sees’ in the area!

Like I’ve mentioned before, stimulate those muscles from all angles and tempos instead of just sticking to the basic exercises.

I personally don’t mind cardio machines, but I’d much rather burn them calories a different way.

All you need is a couple towels which we all should own and the right surface to get it done.😁
