You don't have to be on trend in your kitchen, it's the heart of the home and should be to your taste although it's handy to learn about trends so you can gather a few ideas of what you would like and what would be practical to have.
We have put together a few inspirational trends for this year, all available from Sutton Interiors Kitchen's.
1. Two tone cabinets
While white is still the overwhelming favourite shade of cabinetry, colour is creeping back into our kitchens. Blue and grey units are gaining momentum, especially in a combination of two shades of the same colour – for example, light blue for wall cupboards and dark blue for base units. Or mix it up a little and use blue cabinets for your island and white for wall cabinets.
2. Embrasing dark appliances
Plain old stainless steel has its merits, but in a small kitchen, a giant swath of silvery metal can quickly dominate the room. Appliance manufacturers have wised up to this dilemma, introducing refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves in sophisticated shades of black and slate.

3. Take care of the wine.
The perfect addition to any luxury Kitchen, wine fridges now come in many sizes. Brilliant if you want to sqeeze one in, or if you are an avid wine drinker, a full length.
