Meet Cameron! ☀️”I always thought that “boutique” gyms weren’t for me. If I were to be a part of a gym, I wanted everything – cardio, circuit, and classes.
That changed when on a business trip I decided to try a cycling studio a few doors from my hotel, and found instructors passionate for cycling and bettering oneself.
When I got home, I decided to give my gym one more try and took a spin class. There were four people in the class – two were gym employees. The music was uninspiring, there were two different styles of bikes, the lights were on bright, and the instructor just barked orders from their stage, then at the end tried to pressure me to come to another class. (I realize this is likely the exception from the norm, but I took it as a sign)
That’s when I found Rebel and immediately signed up for the two week trial (which for up to 14 classes was less than the three classes I took in a different city). Stepping into my first class at Rebel, Naomi made me feel welcome right away. Later that day, I cancelled my other gym membership. They didn’t try to convince me to stay, didn’t thank me for nearly ten years of being a member, didn’t say anything but confirm my cancellation. I realized I was just a number and ready to move on.
With each class I have taken at Rebel since that day, I have felt more and more like a family member. I immediately saw my energy levels increase, along with my lung capacity. I’m happier than I have ever been at a gym for the masses, and on my way to being more fit than I have been in years.
If you’re trepidatious about trying Rebel, know that we’ve all been there and remember our first class. It’s scary going into the unknown, but everyone I’ve met is ready to cheer you on, and encourage whatever fitness journey you’re on. Just commit to finding your rhythm with the rest of us Rebels.” Glad we get to have you apart of Rebel now Cameron! You’ve seriously inspired all of us in your time you’ve been here. Thanks for being a Rebel with us!!!
