A little view of my track most days these past couple of weeks! Sounds corny, but I actually feel blessed to have the opportunity to go for a run here every time.
Wait...running? During bulking?? Some people might be concerned that I don't have my goals straightened out but, joke's on you, I'm too gay to have anything straight in my life.
Running, usually followed by some circuit training, has just been something I've tacked on for my personal benefit. It improves my cardiovascular health and stamina, and running in the sand helps for lower body strength/stability. Burning more calories in a day just means I get to eat more
The fact is that I'm simply tired of yo-yo dieting and ignoring the potential I have to be a well-rounded athlete. I have so many more goals now, aside from those for my physique - new strength, mobility, calisthenic, stamina, and athletic goals that I want to work on. I'm not sure how I'm going to manage all of this when I start my next school semester in a new city in literally a week, but I'm definitely going to try - and I'm starting right here, right now! (Well, more like three weeks ago )
