“I think maybe we die every day. Maybe we're born new each dawn, a little changed, a little further on our own road. When enough days stand between you and the person you were, you're strangers. Maybe that's what growing up is. Maybe I have grown up.” ― M.Lawrence

On top of the world, with a Drakensberg Crag Lizard - one of our favourite finds in one of our favourite places in the Eastern Cape... This subspecies is restricted to our Grassland biome, and are mostly found at high elevations.
These lizards are gregarious and can be found in colonies on cliffs in mountainous terrain where they utilize crevices and cracks in the rocks for shelter from the elements - and obviously to evade predation as well.

The votes from my poll are in and Matroosberg won. Myself and @nick.in.sky were the only two people on top of this mountain at roughly 2000m above sea level, I have to say, it was a pretty special experience and I’d definitely do it again! It’s crazy to think just two hours out of Cape Town you’ll find these type of landscapes

The noticeable shift in consciousness by a significant number of people and brands toward achieving a sustainable future for our oceans and natural environment has been a positive step in the right direction, but not enough. We need to continue to take progressive steps to achieve a collective environmental consciousness within the global community by taking action in every possible way. Be a part of the paradigm shift and pick up your shit!
