I got the sweetest surprise from my boyfriend today. A rose and a stash jar (graciously given by his grandma) filled with goodies. Some BlackBerry oil, a joint and a 400mg THC/CBD bath bomb. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 You're so thoughtful @cory.gomez23 I love you so much. I feel like a spoiled little stoner princess 👸 I felt down today but he turned my mood around.
He even came to the door playing music like a mushy, corny, lovebird and I had the biggest shit eating grin on my face. We then had a wonderful walk at the park while totally baked.😂💏🌿💨 #stonercouple

A call rang into the notary line for service at an assisted-living and rehabilitation facility today. No, it wasn’t a new facility for visiting, it was one that I often help people in.

What was different about today?

When approaching the facility, I, along with my witness noticed that there was massive congestion and there were several transportation vans outside. Pulled up a little closer to the facility on Sulphur Springs Road in Greenville and we notice that the area codes for the phone numbers on the vans are 843.

It took a few minutes to realize what was going on here. One of the nurses on staff explained exactly what we were seeing. There were evacuees from other facilities in the low country coming into Greenville and the facilities here are assisting with keeping them safe during the storm.

This further made me think about those Seniors, or shall we say, Seasoned-citizens who may be left behind or neglected because they have no one to rely on to get them to safety.

So with that said, please, I urge you, if you have loved ones in Hurricane Florence’s path, please do your best to either 1) get them to a hurricane approved sheltered site or 2) move them inland (given your ability to do so). Once they are in a safe place, it is also good to make sure their nutrition levels are maintained and that they are getting enough water to drink. In a hurried time, it is easy to forget to hydrate and eat. Worry can sometimes replace taking care of yourself. Should you need to find shelter for someone you cannot get to, you can call the FEMA Website and more specifically, the Hurricane Florence referenced section on the website for more information.

Seniors lives should matter to you.
