Colt 10 weeks now, he has been doing great with simple commands and random training throughout the day. He is most definitely ready for a more vigorous obedience training schedule though, and due to his seperation anxiety, will benefit from it greatly. Remember for successful training a dog must learn to submit to its owner and not challenge the owner’s right to control it. Teaching a dog such submission, however, doesn’t require harsh treatment. On the contrary, an owner can use relatively mild methods for achieving subordination in his or her dog.
Hey everyone. I'm back home now from my operation at the vet. They said everything went good, I'm just pretty out of it right now from the anesthesia! Plus Dad said I have to wear this cone until I heal up! Fortunately it's still really hot out, so I'll get lots of time to sun bathe with Dad!
