What the heck is the difference? Don't we all need and want the same money? Well, not exactly.

Money you need is money you earned because you had to, not because you wanted to. This is money you earned by doing a job you hate, working at a place you probably dont love and taking orders from someone else.

The only reason I included my legs in this is cause my quads look good (plus I was tending so they look even better ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ) buuuuuuuuttt in other news ya girl had a bomb.com breakup of garlic mushrooms, bbq courgette, turmeric scrambled eggs annnnd a cinnamon and raisin bagel thin with some butter ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™ve also had the equivalent of 4 coffees (two big cups) so Iโ€™m kinda hype ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ not the best when youโ€™re sitting tryna do some work ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ .
So today is gonna be spent writing a blog post (all about tryna find a routine that works for you), editing my video annnnnd doing some uni work ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป oh and obvs working out ๐Ÿ˜‚ .

On this gloomy Monday morning Iโ€™m trying to practice gratitude and being in a positive headspace for the week. Itโ€™s so easy to get bogged down with the stress of work and life but itโ€™s important to take a few minutes and focus on the good. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ’•

This week Iโ€™m going to focus on not letting one minor annoyance ruin my whole day and letting things go!๐Ÿ™ƒ My goal this week is to get in at least 2-3 workouts. It may not sound like much but Iโ€™m really trying to make my health a priority and starting small is whatโ€™s manageable right now! And thatโ€™s ok! I feel like itโ€™s so common (at least for me) where I feel if Iโ€™m not working out 4-5 times a week like it seems like everyone else is then Iโ€™m failing. Iโ€™m here to tell you itโ€™s not true! Just getting off the couch or out of the office and making it to as many workouts as you can (even if itโ€™s just one) is a win and you should be proud of yourself. Itโ€™s easy to make excuses but at the end of the day if you show up, thatโ€™s whatโ€™s important. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

BBG Week 2 Legs โœ…
Thank goodness for high waisted pants. You almost canโ€™t tell that the hubs and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner last night. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜œ Guess what?! The โ€œsnackโ€ size of boneless wings has nearly 1000 calories. ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ I mean I ate the entire order and drank a Coronarita (another 350 cals), but dang son. Thatโ€™s a lot of calories to easily consume in like 30 mins. My husband and I used to go to B Dubs a lot before kids. Luckily, we broke the habit post-kids quickly because itโ€™s not really the most kid-friendly place. At all. ๐Ÿ˜† Anyway. Back on track today! Iโ€™m packing my lunch and we have salmon and broccoli for dinner tonight. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป Happy Monday! Go slay.

You can't fast forward to Friday, but you can eat donuts and that's basically the same thing ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป These DOUBLE GINGER GINGERBREAD DONUTS w/ a Chocolate Ginger Drizzle are my new best friend and they are THE perfect pre-workout fuel because they are low in fat and fiber (see my last cookie post on why this is important pre-workout). Plus, the macros (with the drizzle) are ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป I'm obsessed with this festive flavor and I have a gingerbread bundt cake on my mind for next weekend's baking sesh. Why? Because it is one giant donut ๐Ÿ˜œ

Pretend it's Friday ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป
Mix together dry ingredients: 1/4 cup @bobsredmill coconut flour + 1/4 cup @bobsredmill buckwheat flour + 1 tsp. baking powder + pinch of pink salt + 2 tsp. ground ginger + 1 tsp. cinnamon + 1 tsp. ground clove.

Mix together wet ingredients: 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce + 1/4 cup @the_ginger_people ginger syrup + 1/4 cup @wholesomesweet organic molasses + 1 egg.

Combine wet and dry ingredients and pour into a donut pan and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. While donuts are baking, mix together 2 Tbsp. @navitasorganics raw cacao powder + 1 Tbsp. @the_ginger_people ginger spread + enough @fairlife chocolate milk to make an icing texture. Once donuts cool, drizzle away.

I used to live in NY and loved the winters there. In North Carolina the snow usually is gone the next day. So I get very excited to see and experience the seasons first snowfall. How to handle the #firsttrimester

Do what feels right! This is what helped ME, but every woman and pregnancy is unique.

SLEEP: make sure you get plenty of sleep by going to bed early. Honestly, I would (and still do) get ready for bed when my kids do. I typically give them a bath between 7-7:30, and then they play for 15 min & pick out their stories while I shower (with the door open ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ). Iโ€™m usually in bed between 8:30-9, asleep by 10:15.

FOOD: Eating was tricky for me, as NOTHING sounded good to eat. Vegetables completely grossed me out, and I barely ate any. For those who have been following me for a while, you know that I usually eat a big salad every day for lunch. Well that had to stop ๐Ÿ›‘. It pretty much made me want to vomit ๐Ÿคฎ. One thing I found that helped me was always keeping a little food in my stomach. I would eat buttered toast or a bagel in the car on my way to work, then eat my overnight oats a bit later. Basically I ate whatever sounded good. Lots of bread, crackers, yogurt, peanut butter and jelly, fruit. I tried to choose healthy options, but I didnโ€™t stress about it. I also drank a lot of Gatorade and ginger ale.

EXERCISE: For me, working out took my mind away from how nauseous I felt. I really didnโ€™t skip any workouts, and I continued to run one day a week. As you know, I use the @sweat app and follow #bbgstronger ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป. I cleared this with my doctor when I found out I was pregnant, and I highly suggest you do the same if youโ€™re unsure. I have been modifying exercises when it doesnโ€™t feel right, and Iโ€™ve been swapping abs for full body.

My final tip is to ask for help! Letโ€™s be honest, guys arenโ€™t always the best at knowing when to step in and help.. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธTell your significant other when youโ€™re feeling like ๐Ÿ’ฉ, and let them help.

The only difference between the 3 options, is the FAT content. Since fat is more calorie dense per gram than any other nutrient (9 cal/g), milk with a higher fat content will provide more calories.

When you remove the fat from full cream milk, you concentrate what remains. This is why the natural sugar content is slightly ๐Ÿ™„ higher in lower fat products. There isnโ€™t any ADDED sugar in plain milk!
