Been increasing my calories to 1800 and I’m so glad that I did. I used the TDEE calculator before and it told me that number but I thought “the lower the better” no matter what it told me. Used to be so afraid of going over 1400/1500 because that’s what I thought that’s what I needed to lose fat but it just wasn’t working out so it messed with my head. Now, I have more strength for the gym, am still losing weight/inches, and as I get closer to my goal weight/figure, I’ll be able to safely decrease calories without going too low. Gradually learning to not be afraid of higher caloric meals and it’s definitely paying off. There’s such a misunderstanding around the topic of calories, and I was also super misinformed by people who don’t even research wellness topics. Who knew increasing calories would be so beneficial?
