Thanks to all our "Males Of Change" panelists during this event. Your honesty and real life stories highlight the unconscious bias that we all have.
Having representation of women in leadership roles makes for good business and in order for us to have more women in leadership roles the "sisterhood" cannot do it alone.
So thank you for stepping forward, acknowledging the present situation and taking a stand for a better and equal future for all. Looking forward to many more organisations taking your lead and putting measures and initiatives in place to achieve meaningful results, not just ticking a box once a quota has been reached.
A special thank you to Bobbi Tailor-Jepson, The Star, the speakers and our moderator for investing in an initiative that will shape our future.
A part of having exposure is getting out of your comfort zone. As you will be challenged with wanting and desiring to assimilate and acclimate to the next level, but people keep pulling you down to that same level you used to be. But you have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable in order to get to the level you want to be exposed to! So get ready for your next level and study it, so you won’t mess it up! You are only exposed to the next level, because you are supposed to be there and can handle it when you arrive. Go Be Great!
