All but two plants in the garden, I started from seed. This little bitty tomato came from our local library plant sale. A sweet old man had a bunch of them on the tailgate of his truck and told me how him and his wife accidentally created this variety. I certainly couldn't turn him down, especially when he told me they were named after her, Vera. They're incredibly small, ideal for snacking, he said, and fun to put in a hanging basket for convenience. Getting close to having sweet juicy tomatoes ripe for the picking!
