A peaceful morning to remember in Torres del Paine National Park. This epic place has become one of my favorites in South America. Love the glacial lakes, waterways and this national park’s rugged terrain!

Photograph by @simoncroberts. ‘Stone Cross St George’s Day Parade, Dartmouth Park, Birmingham, West Midlands’ from the series #MerrieAlbion. The Stone Cross event is reputedly England’s largest St George’s Day parade, held annually to celebrate the national patron saint, best-known by his mythical image as a mighty, dragon-slaying medieval soldier. Although George would likely have been a soldier somewhere in the eastern Roman Empire, probably in what is now Turkey – if he ever existed. The saint is not only honoured in England, as he is the patron to organisations in 24 other countries including Bulgaria, Macedonia, Jordan and Lebanon. Traditional St George’s Day activities include flying the St George’s Cross red and white flag.

SENIOR SUNDAY! @susiesseniordogs presents: 11 year old Janis got ADOPTED!! She's waited 2 long years for this day!

She now goes by the name of Alice. Talk about total life upgrade - Alice has gone from shelter-life to RV-life! She is living in style now! Alice was adopted by Diana and Mike who travel all over the country in their RV. And they take their dogs everywhere they go! Alice now has three canine siblings to hang out with and a human mom and dad to cater to all her needs. She's truly found her happily-ever-after wonderland!
Her mom Diana wrote, "We travel and live in a 38 foot RV. We live this way because I like to travel but I do not like hotel beds and we do not like to leave our pups. They are so terribly spoiled we have never found a kennel situation that we would trust. One morning this week, Alice came up close to my head and she put her paw on my cheek. The young lady that helped me at the shelter had told me that when Alice wants you to pet her she will lay her paw on you. So I calmly scratched the scruff of her neck & she made the sweetest sounds. She turned her face & head as though to lead me to the places she wanted rubbed and scratched: her ears, her eyes and between her eyes. For one hour I pet her all over & then just like that she was done & became aggressive & moved away from me as that was enough for now.

In our RV there is one large sofa that is filled with blankets and pillows - we call it 'the puppy pit.' We have a difficult time finding room for us on it. We cuddle there every day most of the day. We walk the dogs every morning and evening. Alice is doing about 1/4 mile but we will work her up to 1 mile with time. My husband is taking things slower with Alice & has taken out to potty a couple times & given her a few treats. Our dogs love Mike because he never makes them behave...yup I am the bad guy the one who makes them follow rules!"

“I love this little mountain at the west of Iceland. This land is really wild and untouched. Really the paradise of landscape photographers,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Zita Karádi. “I can spend any time around this area. The land is relaxing and quiet.”

“So beautiful Zita. Fantastic use of long exposure. The light is so gorgeous. The landscape is breathtaking. As I type this, I am sitting at my desk, underneath fluorescent lights, in front of a computer... Instead I wish I was there.” — @natgeoyourshot Producer David Y. Lee (@davidylee)
Happy #EarthDay and to celebrate, today we will be sharing some of our favorite images featuring the beauty of Mother Earth.

“When it comes to ethical fashion, people have this image of hemp and unfashionable fabrics in their mind,” says 17-year-old ethical fashion blogger Tolmeia Gregory (@tollydollyposh). The British-born, Italy-based teen is clear this needs to change. “There’s so much more to it than that. It just means caring about your clothes and where they come from.” “We’re a lot more aware these days of where our food is coming from. We care about it because we eat it every day. Why do we not care about our clothes, because we wear them every day? We all wear clothes. We all have an impact. Not everyone can make different choices about fashion straight away, but just being aware is an important step. Ethical fashion can be fashionable. It can be stylish. Eventually, I’d love to have my own sustainable label — thinking about people wearing my designs is exciting to me.” We’re celebrating #EarthDay with Tolmeia Gregory. Head to our story now to see more.
