“My third trimester was stressful. We were told Imogen was large. Very large. The kinda large we should be concerned about. Ultrasounds were frequent to watch her size and during one of them we were told there was a shadow in her heart and we needed to see a fetal heart specialist ASAP at CHOP. Being a holiday week, CHOP could not fit us in for 3 torturous days. I can remember telling @seanmeagher_ that I needed to see her face. This exact day last year we scheduled a 3D ultrasound. As she appeared on that screen, I somehow knew she would be ok. Our technician kept repeating that she looked perfect in every way, size and weight included. I didn’t go anywhere without this picture and I held it during the testing at CHOP a few days later. All tests came back normal and when she was born a few months later, both of my OB’s were shocked that she was just over 7lbs, not the 11 pound baby predicted. I hadn’t really shared any of this with many people but I’m starting to document it all in her journal and I have waves of gratitude washing over me that this baby is healthy as she is currently kicking me in my throat and stabbing me in the eyes with my own glasses. Love you to the moon Mo." @icemannnaray
