They say it takes 21 days to form a habit. Really? Let's put it to test. I'm doing a 21 day enhanced smoothie challenge (I just made that up lol πŸ˜‚) it's mainly because I always forget to make the nutritious smoothies I'm suppose to ingest daily in order to help my health and wellbeing. These smoothies will feature ingredients that are an added benefit to your health like chlorella, Maca, goji berries, ashwaghanda, chia seeds, cacao, hemp seeds etc. Hence the title "enhanced" and a lot of times these ingredients are called "superfoods". I'm still learning about them so I'll learn here with you! They also say that if you tell someone you're going to do something you are more likely to do it. That too I don't know so I'll try πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ So day 1 tomorrow more like tonight for me as I'm working the night shift πŸŒšπŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ”¬ So join me if you want ... I'll try to make these smoothies as interesting as possible but taste wise I can't say they will all be 100% delicious however they will be 200% good for you πŸ‘πŸ½
Day 1 of 21: Kale Chlorella Banana Karishma

6 large green kale leaves chopped
1 medium ripe banana peeled
1 handful of blackberries
1/2 cup coconut yogurt
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon chlorella powder
---------------------------------------------
Blend all of the above in a blender. Chill and enjoy 😊

Vegan Gluten Free Nachos
4 Ingredients
1. Tortilla Chips
2. Vegan Cheese
3. Black Beans
4. Avocado
Optional: Lemon, Pink Himilayan Salt, Tomatoes, Hummus

I like to place the cheese on the tortilla chips, microwave for 30-60 seconds. Then microwave beans alone for 90 seconds. Place beans on top of chips and cheese and microwave for another 30-60 seconds. Top with avocado and any other toppings you desire. 😊

Anyone else with me? Thai is one of my favorites, I literally could eat red curry every single day. Right now garlic doesn’t work too well with my gut❌ and fun fact: it’s in everything that is delicious including my curry favorites. Whompppp!

We wrapped up 6 weeks of real food and nutrition with sweet treat - we built this beauty with poached orange cake, date paste, rhubarb and strawberry chia jam and ALL the berries on top AND fruit free lemon lime essential oil bliss balls AND loaded choc medallions. The we got to sit, natter, eat and laugh- as well all know women do well! Taking the 4 hour workshop and making a 6 week community nutrition practical course out of it has been fun, and keen to see the next iteration or spreading more real food love with all corners of our society 😍😍😍#cakes#snacks#realfood

We've all heard about eating to improve heart health, reduce the risk for diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain cancers but what about taking care of your mind? Studies show that small dietary changes can boost cognitive function, and reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Society places us under a lot of pressure and thus it's easy to focus on what we can see. So while I'm all for squatting to the body you want. On tonight’s episode of marshmallows against brick walls:

2 store brand gingersnaps;
1 @kraftjetpuffed marshmallow;
5g @traderjoes lemon curd;
3 @driscollsberry raspberries.
Place marshmallow on top of one gingersnap, set under broiler til golden brown. Top with raspberries. Spread lemon curd on other gingersnap. Smash together and enjoy.
Consumed many fun things this week (as per usual) and this 93 calorie wonder made the top of the list. Get down with this, ASAP.
