From MAG Facebook "Hello, everyone!
We have closed for a few days a challenge that is close to my heart: Women for Peace.
The theme asked to reflect on a characteristic aspect of women, that is to be bearers of peace. "Peace" in the broadest sense of the word, peace in the family, with friends, in politics, at work.
The woman is the one who usually takes care of those who are more "weak" or those who need attention (children, elderly, sick). The woman believes in the value of life and condemns war, violence, lack of respect for those who are "different", for minorities.
We wanted to reflect on this kind of women. And they are so much! Imagining and creating images, we think of a social function of art that can help to reflect, that denounces the problems, that highlights something that artists see more clearly ... Our Curator Robin Cohen @psychephoto has selected 12 images in about 300 images in competition. The shared emotions still vibrate in the air ... Thank you very much to everyone!
This video is for you. Who is pleased to share it, he is welcome.
