Get the silky, shiny and healthy hair you've always wanted. Moroccanoil Treatment is the product that pioneered oil-infused hair care and created the worldwide buzz on argan oil. The original foundation for hairstyling, Moroccanoil Treatment can be used as a conditioning, styling and finishing tool. Infused with antioxidant-rich argan oil and shine-boosting vitamins, this completely transformative hair treatment detangles, speeds up drying time and boosts shine - leaving you with nourished, manageable and smooth hair with each use.
100ml solid, dark glass bottle with a cap for travel and a pump
Argan Oil: rich in fatty acids and antioxidants that help restore elasticity, smoothness and manageability to hair
Linseed Extract: derived from flaxseed, a good source of alpha-linolenic acid – also an essential fatty acid that helps improve the health of hair
This was probably my first high-end hair product. I absolutely adore this product and have for years. The fragrance is imperceptible to my nose which is a pity because I do love heavily fragranced hair products. It is extremely viscous, yet lightweight and absorbs quickly. I warm 1-2 pumps in the palms of my hand, and then apply to clean, towel-dried hair, from mid-length to ends. I never have product build up and neither does my hair feel greasy. It is multi-purpose in that it can be used as a heat protectant, to tame flyaways, detangle, strengthen, condition split ends and smooth hair. I like to think of this as molten gold
Retails for around R560 a bottle, but it lasts such a long time. I’ve managed to only use up 2 bottles in the past couple of years.
Silicone, fragrance, dyes
*Recommended?* Yes, if your hair is fairly healthy and not overly dry. There is also a light version for fine, light-coloured hair. Dry and damaged hair types may need a more heavy duty heat protectant and conditioning treatment like the Kerastase one I’ve reviewed.
