Equipment needed: Barbell
Stand straddling a barbell. Bend your knees to sink down and grab the bar with one hand in front of your body, the other behind. Drive through your heels to lift the weight until you're standing upright – this is your starting position. Keeping your core locked, push your hips back to lower the weight until it's almost touching the floor, then drive back up through your heels. Don't use your arms to lift the bar, only your legs.
