I've learned that fear limits you and your vision. It serves as blinders to what may be just a few steps down the road for you. The journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path. Transforming fear into freedom - how great is that?
I had a dream - of the wide open Prarie
I had a dream - of the pale morning sky
I had a dream - that we flew on golden wings
And we were the same, just the same, you and I...
- from the movie Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron
The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it's not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person--without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other. They allow the other absolute freedom, because they know that if the other leaves, they will be as happy as they are now. Their happiness cannot be taken by the other, because it is not given by the other.
"I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds and digital, equality and freedom for their spirits." - Martin Luther King Jr
