Some photos from my late night viewing of the #smithsonian#nationalportraitgallery. Very powerful exhibit by #tituskaphar on the under- and misrepresentation of certain minorities in American history. I love how he made his portraits tactile, 3-D, and immersive.
It has been a while since I took a new portrait for my ‘London Dreams’ project. The last few months of pregnancy were very challenging and the challenge continues now as a mum. Notwithstanding this, my dream of publishing a book showcasing the portraits from this project is still very much alive! For the next few days I’ll be sharing some of my favourite portraits from the project and I hope to be back on the streets of London very soon to continue working on it. Here is Nick, taken in April ‘16.
