Half the fun of the build is being able to share it with you guys, share the ups, the downs, the triumphs and the loses. Picking up good mates along the way is just a bonus. Meeting up with people you’ve never met and sharing some knowledge and experiences is part of building a community and surrounding yourself with people willing to put their hand up to help each other is even better. I have to say as much as I enjoy a solo adventure you sure can’t beat wheeling with mates. Since owning the rig I’ve learnt a heap of things along the way, learnt new skills, learnt what myself and others are capable of. Taken myself out of my comfort zone and explored some places I never thought feasible. But the biggest lesson learnt is that 4x4’s are money pits and you gotta pay to play. However every dollar spent doing something you enjoy is never a waste of money, it’s all up to interpretation. (I will continue to tell myself this so I don’t get upset.) Hooroo.
