small town blues, little town blues I
I wanted to be an architect at one point and even studied building design and drafting. There was an artistic freedom to be able to express how structures and spaces would look, but also how it would be designed to be used by its occupants and visitors. The course provided the foresight to plan and design prior to construction and although I didn’t complete it, it enabled me to see the world with the same pry. Without it, I wouldn’t see the world as I see it today. Some days, when in the heart of the Big Apple, I still dream of being an architect, albeit one that has coastal blues and pulls.
