Kevin Knox said Kristaps Porzingis gave him a call via FaceTime from Spain last night after he was selected by the Knicks.
Kevin Knox says he and Kristaps Porzingis talked about being booed at the draft during their conversation last night. “It’s all motivation. It adds fuel to the fire,” Knox said Porzingis told him. “.... They’ll be cheering for you soon.”
Knox also said that he can't wait to play with KP when he comes back to New York and jokingly said that he got more boo's than KP did when he got drafted.

Knicks fans have came up with The French Prince, Nitty, Ntillmatic, The Frenchise, PorzinGod, and The Unicorn (shoutout KD for that one) among others.
I know y’all got this one too.
David Fizdale says there is ‘absolutely’ a chance that Kevin Knox can start at small forward as a 19-year-old rookie.
Fizdale also compared Knox to Jayson Tatum and Mitchell Robinson to Clint Capela and said that there is no problem starting Knox OR Frank because they "gotta swim" and develop through experience.

Several NBA teams have discussed 23 year old Damyean Dotson as a Trade Target this summer with rumors that the Knicks prefer Frank Ntilikina as a SG. Other teams see his potential. Don’t let him go!
Emmanual Mudiay looked fucking solid out there. Double Double in his debut game as a Knick.
If Jeff decides to keep starting Jack....

Many Knicks fans are upset that Knox was picked over Porter JR and Mikal Bridges. While I can see where the anger comes from I also disagree with a lot of what people are saying. First of all Knox is 100% the better player than Bridges. As an 18 year old Knox is much more athletic and has way more upside than a 21 year old Bridges, this shouldn't even be in the conversation. I understand why people are mad about MPJ though because if he develops correctly he will most likely be the next KD, but the problem is that Porter has shown that he has gotten injuries and this could lead to more injuries down the line. Plus, the Knicks were not impressed by Porter during workouts and were obviously more impressed with Knox so that shows something. I don't think that people realize that even if Porter ends up great, Knox is almost a guaranteed all star in the future unless he gets injured. Look at some of his highlights before judging him. Time will only tell who was the better pick. #KevinKnox#MichaelPorterJR#Knox#MPJ#Knicks#NYKnicks#NewYorkKnicks#NewYork
The Knicks are selecting C Mitchell Robinson with pick number 36! His pro comparison is Willie Cauley Stein. He’s athletic, mobile, with a 7’4 wingspan at 7’1. The 5 Star recruit enrolled at Western Kentucky but decided to forgo his freshman year to train for the NBA. (H/T Shams)
One of the biggest mysteries in the entire draft. Mitchell Robinson has a really high ceiling if it pans out. He was a 5 Star Recruit and the number 9 player in the 2017 recruiting class. He’s 7 feet, 223 pounds, and has a 7’4 wingspan. He’s a great shot blocker and can become a great defender in the league. He’s very raw on the offensive side of the ball but he has great size and athleticism. He could become a steal for the Knicks at Number 36. This could mean that KO or Kanter might not be retained. This kid has the potential to be a steal @draftexpress
