Speedy Bircher muesli - perfect set up for the day! Traditionally, oats should be soaked overnight but I'm rarely organised enough for that so I do a cheat's 5 minute soaking in the morning. Simply soak the oats either in apple juice or a mixture of cold water and lemon juice. Leave for 5 mins or more before adding grated apple (or pear), Greek yoghurt, drizzle of honey or maple syrup, berries and toasted almonds (or other nuts). Other tasty additions include a spoonful of nut butter, handful of chopped dried fruit (apricots, dates etc), spoonful of fruit puree. After feeling weak, tonight's workout was awesome! So pleased it's the weekend, been a long week! A ceia é uma coisa que não faço há muito tempo. Tenho medo e não sei quando o vou conseguir superar. Mas estou a fazer por isso...
Atualmente, tenho excedido as calorias diárias. Não pelas minhas refeições, mas sim pelas fortes compulsões.
Deixei de provocar o vómito, pois apesar de me sentir melhor mentalmente isso não acontecia a nível físico. O meu esófago estava a criar úlceras e não poderia continuar, teve mesmo de chegar ao fim.
Confesso que atualmente tenho tido imensa vontade de regressar aos velhos hábitos, não me refiro só a restringir, refiro-me também a exercitar e provocar o vómito.
Tenho de compensar todas estas compulsões... isto não pode continuar.
Tenho ganho imenso peso e tudo isto porque não tenho controlo sobre mim mesma. Sei que não seriam tão regulares se fizesse todas as refeições e de forma saudável, mas as vozes na minha mente ainda não me permitem isso.
Espero não continuar a ganhar tanto peso e que com o tempo tudo se resolva...

Cinnamon Apple Oats
1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal
1 1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup @naturespathorganic hemp granola
2 tbsp date crumble
Sliced apples
Simmer oats, almond milk and cinnamon in a small sauce pan for approximately 10-15 minutes or until oats have fully softened. Top with goodies!
DATE CRUMBLE
2 cups dried and pitted dates
1/2 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup raw coconut
Pulse in a food processor until mixture is finely chopped together.
