Bam Bam would love to be yours
Bam Bam is one very handsome and friendly older gentleman. He was in the shelter in 2011 & returned now due to his family moving to a place where pets are not allowed. Bam Bam is good with children, he lived with a child, is very welcoming with people & well cared for.
A volunteer writes;
Bam bam is a beautiful grey who does not look his age at all. He has been so well cared for, enjoying a great weight and health & wearing a flawless & #magnificent coat. Bam bam comes to us with great comments, his former owner sharing with us how #obedient, friendly, affectionate and mellow he is. Bam bam lets you know that he prefers to be in company, walk to the park or simply lounge out in the yard, leash free. He is a good walker, likely house trained & frets a little with excessive noises & other #dogs. After a while, back at the care center, he settles down & lays down at my feet, ready for petting. He really appreciates the peacefulness of the yard and togetherness.
Bam Bam #26686.
I am a desexed male gray #dog #Manhattan Animal Care Center.
The shelter thinks I am about 9 years 2 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a OWNER SURRENDER on 01-May-2018, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- MOVING - NO PETS ALLOWED
Bam Bam is AT RISK for medical reasons, #Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, which is contagious to other dogs, and will require treatment with antibiotics, most likely for 14 days. Behaviorally, we suggest that Bam Bam would be best suited for an EXPERIENCED HOME.
UPON INTAKE, Bam Bam was whimpering and crying & pacing. He would come to counselor when called and allowed counselor to pet & collar. He did not take treats when offered and pulled when walked on #leash
Previously lived with:: 2 adults and 1 child
Bam used to live with his mother & they were relaxed, playful and respectful of each other. They played gently together.
