The other day my youngest patted my butt and said “It’s not so jiggly anymore!” Well thank God cuz I’ve been working hard on that booty!! The program I’m doing really focuses a lot on booty and core (it works everything, don’t get me wrong) which is perfect for me because of my knee problems. Did you just think “WHAT?!” Did you know that strengthening your core and glutes will help with your knees? It’s true!! If the muscles in your hips and butt weaken it’s referred to as dormant butt syndrome. (Seriously!) The muscles in the hips help control the movement of your legs. The glutes help to pull your leg out to the side, to rotate your thigh properly when sitting or standing and keep your pelvis level. When your glutes become weak your thigh rotates incorrectly and puts a lot of stress and strain on your knees.
