I’ve used the @olehenriksen C- Rush Brightening Gel Creme a few times now, so I have more first-ish impressions on it.
I noticed that my base makeup looked better and skin appeared more even toned on mornings that I used this. It has the slightest peach tint to it, so that’s where the immediate brightening effect comes from. The tint isn’t super obvious, so if you went without makeup you’d still look ok if you are light-medium skin toned. (The tint is pretty sheer, but I don’t know how it appears on darker skin tones, fwiw.) _____________________
I prefer watery serums, so this gel cream is a bit heavier feeling than I’m used to. But once it absorbs, it leaves a nice satin finish, with no stickiness. Also, it doesn’t make me oilier and works very well under makeup- no pilling. Still keeping my eyes peeled for any clogged pores from using this, though
One last thing to note is that it doesn’t provide the all-day moisture boost that I was expecting. I’ll continue using it for another week or so and will update again...unless it starts breaking me out, then we’re so over
