Self-Expression of Gratitude Challenge Day 7, sadly our last day, of #Grateful4MyAsana is about transformation - "Is there a pose that has transformed your journey or has transformed with you on your journey?"
I feel that the #handstand has been journeying with me since the true beginning of my practice. It really has been transforming with me along the way. The handstand journey is a journey in itself, some days are good handstand days, some bad. Some days I have complete control and balance, but other days I can't seem to find my balance no matter what I do. I have reached the point where I absolutely love to handstand, any time and any place. I am experiencing my hollow body hold and can even find a bit a movement in my hold. (I wanted to post a movement video, but it was so damn windy that there was no chance here, lol). Anyway, I have a long way to go, but I am loving everything the handstand has given me so far...such as teaching me to be patient with myself, learning to trust my body and let go of fear, recognising my power and strength, as well as reminding me to always strive for balance in my life.
I am so grateful to have been able to share this beautiful challenge with all of you. You are all incredibly inspiring to me. This has been a wonderful journey. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. •
