Homemade crackers! So easy to make and tastes really good too!
Preheat oven to 180 degrees on fan bake.
1c LSA
1 1/4c Almond Meal
1/2c sesame seeds
2 eggs
Handful of grated Parmesan cheese
Small handful of rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients together and mix until it forms into a ball. I actually used a mixer. You also might need extra almond meal if the mixture is too sticky.
Once the moisture is ready, divide into two and roll it between sheets of baking paper.
Roll till it’s approx 3-5mm thin and into a rectangle shape and approx size of the baking tray.
Transfer onto tray, then cut into squares, put into oven and fan bake for 10-15mins or until golden brown.

Once all baked, break the pre cut squares and place on to a baking rack. When it’s all cool, out in a air tight container.
Best eaten with condiments like hummus, sauerkraut, relishes and cheese. •

Delicious Taco Salad with grain-free chips🌮🥗


Made this six days ago and it is still fresh! I used Tupperware to store it and cupcake liners to separate the toppings. When it was time to eat I dumped out the toppings and microwaved and enjoyed with some Siete Chips!

Our teamlead got to go on vacation, to the Washington monuments. We got to glance through all of her pictures. This one caught my eye. Being allergic to corn, this makes me super sad. I thought it was satire, but it was marketing in the US. I'm guessing, in the 50's.

Do you know that turkey (especially dark meat) is high in taurine, which is a nutrient that is good for cardiovascular health, balancing minerals and also hormones? My next round of Whole30 starts today! 🥗 🥑 🥩 🍗 🥕 🍳🥦🥒🥝🥓🍏🍓Although I have been enjoying my food freedom since my last round, my skin, digestion, and energy have all been suffering a bit. So, I’m Excited to retame my sugar dragon, reclaim my tiger blood, and rekick my dumb chewing gum habit!
Lunch this week is Thai chicken over spaghetti squash! Last time I made this I used my pressure cooker but this time I used my crockpot and it turned out so much better. Recipe from @therealfoodrds but I made it with @sunbutter unsweetened sunflower butter instead of peanut butter to make whole30. So delicious and satisfying!

YUM!! Today's lunch - California Turkey & Bacon Lettuce Wraps 😋😋 this was my first time making them and they were DELICIOUS!! It's gluten free and took me 5 minutes to put together 👌🏼🥓🍅🍇🥑



1 iceberg lettuce leaf
2 slices of applegate roasted turkey
2 pieces of applegate uncured turkey bacon
1/2 an avocado
1/2 a tomato

Put all those ingredients inside your lettuce leaf and just roll like a burrito!! It's so so yummy definitely recommend #whole30 #paleo #healthy #lunch #yummy

#cookbookin Is that a word? Been working on a #dyefree cake that people can make for St. Patrick’s day or maybe even a birthday. It contains a tiny bit of sunflower seed butter, which when mixed with baking soda releases the chlorophyll in the seeds and when the cake oxidizes (cools in a room with oxygen aka any room on earth) it turns green!!! It doesn’t change the flavor profile whatsoever. I’m also working on a #paleo caramel buttercream which you see on here as the icing but I needs a little more work. Lastly the chocolate sauce is a chocolate maple sauce! YUM! This is all paleo, dye free, refined sugar free, gluten and grain free, and can be made dairy free in a jiff as well! LUNCHTIME! This is my first time trying this and I think I’ll use it again for weeks where I’m lazy. Chicken salad on top of spinach :)

For the chicken salad, I cooked chicken breast at 400 degrees, 10 minutes each side. After the chicken is done, chop into 1 inch pieces. Combine chicken, shredded carrots, and compliant roasted red peppers(I used the Trader Joe’s brand) and toss in compliant mayo(I used @primalkitchenfoods). Store in the fridge!

When ready to eat, scoop some of the chicken salad on top of spinach, and top with ground pepper, sunflower seeds, and lemon. ➖

One of my favourite articles ever from @precisionnutrition is about ‘the pause button mentality’. It resonates with a lot of people and I’ve had discussions with a lot of clients about it lately. It often takes the form of conditional healthy eating/lifestyle, similar to the idea of conditional happiness, that thing where people say ‘oh I’ll be happy when..X'. Relating to health then it sounds like ‘oh I’ll get on track when..’ - fill in the blank. ‘I’m not as stressed/work isn’t as busy/when I’m not injured’ etc. .
But in real life, where we all live, Jupiter’s moons don’t align to give us ‘perfect’ circumstances where we can finally get this health thing off the ground. I’ve written before about how ‘perfect’ doesn’t exist in real life and I maintain that.

Remember, something is always better than nothing. 1>0. Can’t manage to eat 10 servings of veg every day so you’re a failure so you choose to have none instead? No. But maybe you could have got away with 2? Which is the better option here? We have to learn to ‘dance in the rain’ because life doesn’t stop.

A relatable analogy for me is the idea of ‘reading' weeks or holidays in college. Back then you could put stuff off until then and make it conditional. Oh I’ll do XYZ during reading week because I’ll have more time then. This was true. But in the real world there are no reading weeks so you better get working on what you can in reality. There’s no putting it off. If you did press pause on your health goals, when you decide to unpause, what will have changed? Not very much. Life is always happening.

So instead of pressing the pause button, adjust the dial…If you’re going through a particularly tough period maybe you turn the dial down on your training from a 9 (6 workouts a week + active job) down to a 6 (3 workouts a week + active job) instead. That way you’re keeping up with 1>0, not switching things off completely and always doing something, no matter how far off ‘perfect’ it might be. And then when you can, maybe you dial things back up a notch or two.

Do the best you can with what you have right now.

Perfection doesn’t exist

And that’s okay
