In 2017... we are BOMBARDED with all sorts of information, marketing tactics, “new tricks” and “revolutionary new discoveries” on how to do the same old things. In other words, we are constantly being SOLD TO by people who are trying to reinvent the wheel. ♻️

Don’t get me wrong, there have been some AWESOME advances in exercise science, human physiology and nutrition in the last decade- BUT, these discoveries can not and DO NOT replace a solid foundation. Having a sound strategy. Mastering the basics... & I mean truly MASTERING them. 🌟

What we see today is an OVERWHELMING majority of people failing to master the FEW PILLARS that produce almost ALL of their results and INSTEAD; focusing their time and energy on the INSIGNIFICANT DETAILS that produce little returns in comparison. ⚖️

👉 If you’re asking questions about how to target the upper/outer-most part of your glutes, but cannot squat 1.25x your bodyweight with textbook form- THIS IS YOU.

👉 If you’re asking questions about the PERFECT time to drink your post workout protein shake for “maximum gains” but haven’t been training for 5+ years- THIS IS YOU.

👉 If you’re asking questions about what the best modality of cardio to do is to burn fat, but don’t have a basic understanding of energy balance- THIS IS YOU.

Still feeling a little sick but arm pump was on point. Decided to stray from my current 3 day split (more on my new split in a future post) to train arms with someone I haven’t trained with in a couple of weeks.
