I literally could not post anything all day because there was so much going on. The visits to vets, the death, the calling to get him taken away, and just the shock. Rosco passed and chaos let loose.
If it wasn’t for Andrew, Brandon, and Victoria I honestly don’t know what I would have done. I can never thank them enough for just being there with our family the entire time.
Animals are a gift that can bring so much joy to the lives of people. They may not speak, but they have a way of expressing comfort, concern, and care. .
There are so many instances where God used animals to explain attributes that should be learned as humans and qualities we should mimic. In Proverbs He says that we should care for our animals. The Chacon family truly loved that verse when it came to every pet we owned.
But I think out of all our pets, Rosco truly outshined them all. There was something special in him that God allowed him to have to add to the Chacon family. There was so much we learned from him. From his humility, to his patience, to his unconditional love. It really is amazing how much an animal can teach you.
More than a pet, Rosco was a member of the family. Which makes losing him all the more painful. Those that are expressing their condolences to our loss truly knew what Rosco meant to us. If you ever had an encounter with Rosco, you just knew the sweet spirit he carried. Though he was only an animal he had an enormous piece of our heart. In many people’s heart.
I am so thankful for the 8 years we were able to have him and the joy he brought to us. We will only remember the good times. Which was every moment with him. From runs at the beach to our rides in the car. I love you my handsome beast. I miss you
