People around you might tell you to stop over-reacting & wasting your time over nothing. You might say the same to yourself. But, if you want these constant thoughts to stop, you need to REALIZE! There is nothing wrong in being an overthinker; accept it and try to remedy it. It’s not just overthinking but most of us tend to question ourselves a lot. This shatters our confidence in what we do in our everyday lives. We destroy our happiness and peace by persistent questioning! Stop with the ‘Why’! I know it is easy to say, but hard to do.
Whenever you feel that your mind is constantly asking you questions, bothering & and taking you to that endless torment of self-hurt, start answering your own questions. .
Why am I the one who has to face disappointments? No, I am not the only one. This is how the world works. You face defeat, you fall & you force yourself to get up. I have to get up now and tell myself; yes I faced defeat, but I am way braver than sulking over it.
Why can’t I stay happy?
Because, I don’t allow myself to be! I don’t allow my mind to free space from these negative thoughts. I don’t encourage my brain to flush the toxins, & feel alive for at least once. I have everything that is needed to be happy, but I am not allowing myself to make use of them.
Don’t think of yourself as the third-person. Acknowledge the self-harm that you are inflicting by constantly questioning yourself. Now start answering these questions one by one. I know, it is extremely hard. I know, because I am also there. But, this is the only solution. Take baby steps; one at a time. One question at a time. Start writing down your thoughts, and answer them, so you can go back and read when you are down. Take this step, have faith on yourself. Realize that you want to live happy, & the first step towards that happiness is to live in the moment, & answering all your insecurities & whys!
