“Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.” Proverbs 10:12.
This pic and caption is a little high key to post and i know a lot of you may have something negative to say, but the goal is to spread genuine positivity. I’ve spent so many nights asking God one word: why? Why does He put certain people in my life? It hasn’t been the easiest. And last night it hit me. Unconditional love. I truly believe God put this man in my life for many hard but life changing lessons, the biggest teaching me how to love unconditionally. It’s loving someone through the ups and the downs. It’s having his back when things get rough. It’s always showing up for him, even if it’s 6 in the morning. Its not necessarily understanding, but endlessly striving to. It’s supporting him and his dreams, even when it selfishly hurts. It’s constantly evolving and changing depending on where we are in life. It’s loving someone in the way they need you to, not how you think they need you to.
Issiah, I’m so proud of the man you’re becoming every day. The way you are embracing accountability and emotions lately is something that makes my heart happy. You are the embodiment of strength. You’ve taught me patience, the importance of planning, and so much more. I continue learning from you everyday. Through it all, you’re one of my closest friends and i wouldn’t give that for anything. I know this has been messy and difficult and neither of us knows what the future holds, but that’s okay. Just know that no matter what, even when it feels like i hate you, I’ll always be cheering you on. I don’t know if South Carolina is truly ready #radiatepositivity #spreadlove #day2 #positivitychallenge
