Happy Friday everyone I’m about to shed some light on a reality I’ve been dealing with.
I have had stomach issues for several years now, and a couple weeks ago I was diagnosed with IBS. For those who don’t know, IBS is Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It’s not something we all love to talk about but I’ve come to understand that it does effect my fitness journey in many ways. IBS is an intestinal disorder that cannot be cured, but it treatable! IBS symptoms are caused by the imbalances of good bacteria in the gut.
On top of my macro diet, I will also be following the FODMAP chart. The chart consists of carbs that are poorly digested.
Many call this the “skinny-fat syndrome”. The stomach is inflamed and bloated daily depending on what you take in your body. I’ve been working hard on my mid section, and just not seeing the results I’ve been wanting. I hadn’t researched much on IBS. They gave me the medication but I thought that would be it. I was DEFINITELY wrong!
So, my journey to a healthy lifestyle is going to change again and though it may be very difficult and it’ll take some willpower, I’m ready to be the healthiest version of my self! •
Swipe for the new Vegan products I’ll be trying this week and some tips with foods that you should and shouldn’t eat with IBS. If anyone has tips or receipts, feel free to message me! I’m currently in this free 10 day IBS course so if anyone has any questions, I’d be happy to help in any way I can #IBS #IBSC #healthylifestyle #postivethoughts #ibsawareness #ibsdiet #guthealth
