It’s not pretty, but I’m getting the work done.
Getting into shape is never easy, it brings a lot of moments where you wonder if you will ever feel strong again, but I have to say, this approach without expectations, goals, plans is really helping me to just do my best for the day, and trust that I am gonna surprise myself at some point when I am suddenly in shape♀️
For now, just doing one workout a week, keeping it simple, one long run, and 2-3 more easy days.
Today I did 8 x the trail near my house (well, actually 4 x each section). They are roughly 1/2 mile long, but part of my no pressure approach means just starting my watch once at the start of the run, and not touching it again till I get done with the cool down, so I don’t know exactly how long the hard sections were (around 3mins20 by the looks of it).
Slightly faster as the workout progressed, so for now, I’ll take it.♀️
