Downtown Miami refers to the center of the city, as is generally known in most cities around the world.
This is one of the places of Miami characterized by its high buildings and the view of Vizcayne Bay, it is worthwhile to know the places of interest within it.
What to see in Downtown Miami
This area usually has enough pedestrian traffic during the day but at nightfall it is not so attractive to walk around here.
However its skyscrapers are dazzling and it has several business centers, conventions, and meeting centers.
The contrast between its buildings and the sea is what makes it worth a visit to this place.
If you visit during the day you can go to some of the Cuban places (although not the same as those of Little Havana) and ask for the famous "colada", a very sweet strong coffee that is almost religion in the city.
At night it can be interesting that you know the Bayside marketplace since its illumination next to the sea is dazzling

The icon of this neighborhood is the Freedom Tower, with wonderful architecture in the middle of skyscrapers.
To know this area you can use the Metromover, which is free. You can pass between the buildings, recognizing the coast of Key Biscayne.
You will appreciate the contrast of the urban with the sea in full.
And if you come by car it is easy to find where to park and even recommended, and then walk through the area.
