I know just how hard it can be sometimes, the extra effort that it takes...But every little act of kindness towards our planet, and every little act of self love and kindness towards YOURSELF is a step towards peace + happiness. You are part of this Earth
These are some of the ways I like to show kindness to both myself + Earth, remember that little things all add up to make the biggest difference!
Take reusable bags, cups + cutlery with you wherever you go. To the shops, cafés, say NO to single-use plastic!
Take some time each day to do something relaxing that you love. Go for a walk, do some yoga, meditate, read a book .
Pick up rubbish when you see it lying around. This used to gross me out + I was afraid of people judging me for being ‘uncool’, but after learning about the consequences of plastic in our environment, especially for animals, I think it’s my responsibility to pick up rubbish whenever I can. It’s cool to be kind
Eat a plant based diet. The single most effective thing you can do for the health of the planet AND your body!
Shop seasonally + locally. Generally means it’s fresher, tastier and more nutrient-dense too, so a win-win!
Surround yourself with people that make you feel good about yourself. You deserve it
Don’t be so hard on yourself. Nourish your mind with positive, kind thoughts. Treat yourself as you would treat your own best friend.
