Learn how Thornhill Primary School’s squad of student #ecowarriors were able to reduce energy by nearly 1/3 from 2012-2015. Your school can do the same by partnering with #lessco2#throwbackthursday https://bit.ly/2IpQxxy
#Biogas can be produced from a broad range of feedstocks that are suitable for anaerobic digestion.
The #anaerobicdigestion of sludge is perhaps the oldest anaerobic digestion technology. In modern anaerobic digesters, this biogas is captured and used for #energy recovery.
Did you know that the average tree can clean up to 48 pounds of carbon dioxide annually, improve air quality by filtering harmful dust and pollutants and reduce the urban heat island effect through evaporative cooling?
Trees also provide social and psychological benefits. Those suffering from chronic stress can find relief in the presence of trees, thus improving their overall health and #wellbeing
When was the last time you planted a tree? How did it make you feel?

REPOST of @mehreenfaruqi: I didn’t always have the confidence in myself as an artist or illustrator. Ten years ago, @justinfieldmlc asked me to design a #nonewcoal poster for the campaign to push Australia beyond #coal. And ten years on I STILL see the posters around the place!
It feels really good to know that my artwork has some sort of staying power - but I hope one day these posters will be in a museum as part of an exhibition on how Australia embraced #renewableenergy and dropped dirty old coal for the #climate!
