April 20th (an international holiday known as #420, and a day where people young and old, from all races, colors, creeds, and religions have been meeting on a specific hill in Golden Gate Park at a specific time [4:20pm] for about over half a century now)
So I spent the morning give away lunches to as many needy people in the TL as I could. It was cool as shit, not gonna lie. Everyone I gave food and water to was super grateful and a bunch of strangers that were passing by were saying positive things the whole time which was unexpected but also, appreciated. My biggest hope is that at least one of them thought to themselves “hmmm... maybe I can do that” because that’s exactly how it happened with me.
After I lent a hand to my people’s, I hopped on a @bird scooter and hit Haight-Ashbury to see what this years 420 celebrations looked like and maannnn things have changed ! So much so that I started comparing and contrasting the historical, spontaneous event to the now modern, organized event. I got a bunch of great pics and footage that I’m going to edit this weekend but now ... I’ve got an itch to write. Might throw up a blog section on my website to write about my adventures around the Bay.. I’ll keep you all posted.
