Finally!! The high tunnel build is complete! Today we tractored in about 15-20 yards of our living composted manure soil building material. We then spread it all by hand and planted a fall rye cover crop. We have now officially doubled our indoor growing space, thanks to the NRCS hoop house grant. I have so much love and gratitude for everyone that played a role in completing this project! Strengthening community by building a greenhouse to grow organic local food, does my heart good! Thanks to Sara, Libby, Hāla, Teyan, Diana, Bryce, Mike Schiewe, Adam, Johnathon, Janet, Paige, Kristen, Mike H, Lake, Mike T, Jen, DJ, Michael, Jamie... (hoping I didn’t forget anybody). 🙏🧡🙌🏻💪🏽👊🏽👍🏽 #shadygrovefarmup #permaculture #seasonextension #livingsoil #beyondorganic #foodwithintegrity #localfarmers #covercrops #soilhealthmatters #soilhealth
