Why is it still happening?!
The whole “carbs are bad thing”
What you on about? Why are carbs bad?
You see, with things like this in the health industry, they’re trying to make you look for a reason outside of you for why you can’t lose weight, so that you buy in to things
They make out that because you eat carbs you can’t lose fat.
I find it sad that you are fed this rubbish!
Carbs are associated with fat gain literally because they are a form of sugar. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Your body is unique and so many people run best on carbs!
What you’ve got to think about is WHAT carbs are you eating?
Sure, processed sugary junk foods, white bread, fizzy drinks and all of that stuff - cut it out.
But carbs in the forms of whole grain bread and rice and oats and fruits and vegetables are all valuable sources of fuel, also providing many essential mincronutrients (vitamins, minerals etc) that your body needs!
Carbs are not what are causing weight gain, it’s the poor choices you make and that false belief still embedded in your mind that there is a QUICK EASY secret formula to a flat stomach or weight loss in general.
But the quick and easy way doesn’t yield lifelong results. The so called ‘easy’ way isn’t what shapes you and actually changes you. You have to go through the difficulties of cutting the crap out of your diet, and saying no to the stuff you are probably addicted to (because of the chemicals within so much of it) in order to see the opposite - the results, the success, the breakthrough. The realisation that it is the food choices you make, not the main macronutrient that you are eating (I.e carbs). There won’t be permanent change if you can’t accept the fact that all of this health and fitness stuff is a choice of lifestyle!
Please, don’t cut out carbs. Stop thinking they are your enemy. Don’t be fooled. Please don’t play the game of quick fixes... Because can’t you see, looking for a quick and easy route only leaves you time and time again with the same unsuccessful results. Nothing changes - because you haven’t gone through an actual change... and then you wonder why Listen to your gut, think about what you actually NEED! #nutrition
