“I’m pretty sure I still have the email I got from Moda letting me know they had accepted my fabric line submission and welcoming me to the Moda family.”
Corey of @corianderquilts popping back on to share a bit more.
“It was June of 2014, and about two weeks prior, I had emailed a submission to Moda with my fingers crossed. I’m a big believer in ‘never try, never know’ and had been thinking about trying my hand at fabric design for awhile. With my youngest daughter starting Kindergarten in the fall, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. It was so exciting to get that ‘Yes’ email.”
“As soon as my line was accepted, I knew I would be launching my own quilt pattern line. Up to this point, I had been designing quilt patterns for various fabric companies, magazines, and books. And so, Coriander Quilts (Corey and her quilts) was born. You can see the first quilts in my pattern line using the fabrics from my first fabric line, Prairie, by swiping left.
The quilts are as follows:
Dashing (this quilt was actually featured and on the front cover of @quiltmaniaeditions last summer)
Should any of the quilts I’ve shared catch your fancy, my pattern shop is on Etsy, link in my profile, @corianderquilts
