Tomorrow I officially start our new Program, LIIIFT4 with James and a group from our team and I'm pumped! I had Church stuff today but in the in between a I did a little cardio time to clear my head, prepped fruits, veggies and meat is in the oven now, made lists for James and I to keep on top of the nutrition each day, took my before measurements and photos. The start of a new program for me has become a welcome rhythm. When I started this journey I got a little overwhelmed and intimidated by it, but now that I've completed 7 programs from start to finish ( a few several times) I look forward to it! I know it means I will get to accomplish something, I know I'll feel great, I know I'll press into the things that I am pushing down now (emotions and stress seem to find a way bubble up when you push your body), I know I'll get stronger and even more, I know I'll FINISH. I'm worth working on. I can follow through on what I'm committed too. This process can teach me and minister grace to me that will flow out into my way with others. The tiny amount of planning, thinking and preparing is worth it because it sets me up to be a better me.
How does starting something new make you feel? How do you get yourself to start?
Here I go! Can't wait to show you how it goes- exciting and hard stuff... it's all good for growing me! So, wish me luck for day one... through week 8!
