Good efforts repeated consistently create great results.
Yesterday I finally decided to back up my computer to a hard drive before heading overseas. Let’s be honest, if anyone is going to lose a computer whilst traveling... it’s me As I began backing up photos I came across so many I had forgotten. Photos from my days as an elite swimmer, walking around in speedos with a skinny fat frame. Photos of me in school paying zero attention to the class around me. Photos of me on stage with my band, trying to look far cooler than I actually was. The most shocking though were photos of me in the gym as a 17 year old. Baggy oversized singlet, because you know; it was the in thing. Training gloves because I genuinely believed they made me stronger. I’ve been training since gloves were a cool thing... that’s a long fkn time. -
I’ve been working on this thing called “fitness” for a while now. Trying to gain muscle and move away from the oversized baggy singlet, glove wearing weirdo that I once was. -
The thing is though, it takes time. Lots of time. Often people come to me asking for a quick fix. A “diet” or program to get them massive or lean in as little time as possible. However you get out what you put in... always. -
Train hard. Train often. Eat consistently. Recover well. -
