There is something special about the feeling you get on the summit of a peak. The 360 degree views can evoke a sense of accomplishment, awe, gratitude, and humility. These mountains are where we feel most alive. #TheRoadWestTraveled
This was definitely one of my trickier launches, there's a big difference between launching at 10k in Utah and nearly 13k here. Due to the flatter terrain at the top and low airspeed, I did not want to be overly aggressive in getting seperation from the terrain and possibly stalling the wing.
I took off from Peak 5 of 10 mile range (backside of Breckenridge) and landed in the alpine parking lot of Copper.

Have you seen the size of the glacier behind me!!! 7 Eiffel Towers tall it's humbling to stand at the bottom of these beasts and imagine the view from the top. A visual meditation I do is put my goals at the top and imagine myself climbing all the way up to them. It's a mission, but it's a fun one #mountains#goals#alps
