Not much snow up here on the North Shore. You wanna know why? IT’S ALL at Manitou State Park! Up to 3 ft in some spots and postholing the whole way. Hike #20 was the toughest one yet. Conditions were tough and knowing I was one of the only people in a park without a ranger was a little weird too. Fell a few times and got a little creeped out when I saw bear poop and what I believe were wolf tracks. Im sure its a beautiful park but I couldn’t fully enjoy it due to trying so hard to make it back alive. But Now I can say I’ve hiked every state park on the North Shore. What’s the hardest hike you’ve ever done? Was it worth it?
