My binding system wasn't working for me. I attach the binding and then clover clip it down. Then, I usually drag the quilt to where ever Lunden and David are to stitch. I need needles, thread, needle minder, thimble, scissors, a jar to deposit the clover clips into as I stitch and candy. I always need candy. I've been using my English paper piecing kit for years, but it was falling short bc I had still had no where to put the clips, my lap was full of quilt and there was no room left for the trifold binding kit. This little thing, I've been calling my "Binding Buddy", has made all things right in my world! It rests over the arm of my couch, chair or car console holding everything I need to bind hassle free.
DETAILS: Top: Pincushion filled with a combination of crushed walnut shells and polyfil. This combo creates loft and weight. There's spool holder where I can easily change and attach (via velcro) whatever color thread I need to match my binding. The side closest to me is divided to hold my above mentioned binding essentials and magnetic needle minder. The opposite side has no divider and is where I deposit my clover clips as I sew. Flat view, Measures "x". FABRIC: Handmade designed by @thimbleblossoms and @bonniecottonway for @modafabrics *Original inspiration from During Quiet Time blog.
