Time to grip it and rip it on #deadlift.

A bit of redemption and a new PR. Failed my previous squat max 3 months ago. So I hit my old max for a double(182.5kg) Then hit a nasty 190 for a single which is a new training PR! (second video)
First rep on 182.5kg moved with caution because because I had to redeem it! Second rep the explosion from upper movement was so fast the bar jumped off my back 😂🤣 same with 190kg lol.
A very good training cycle! My brother took on a gruesome 193.5kg for a single! Which I'll upload later today!

Bonjour tout le monde !

Cette semaine auras été bon en sport. Mardi séance haut de corps, mercredi cross training avec @fitnessboutiqueangers et hier soir séance bas de corps. J'ai filmé quelques squats car j'étais content, même avec le mal de genoux, j'arrive à descendre un peu plus à chaque fois sans provoquer de douleur !

Sa montre bien quand tu travail bien tu est récompensé !

Today was not a good day for #squats

13WOD4 13 weeks to Nationals. Things still feel good. Re-upload since it cut my last squat rep off.

3:0:1 Tempo High Bar

430 x 8
445 x 8 (video 1) so I’ve working really hard not to lose my upper back with this movement. The last couple weeks have actually been pretty bad, but it was hard to see with the camera angle so I changed it up. The last 3 reps my back goes from extension to neutral and the very last rep, I lose it completely. This is actually an improvement, even more-so, since I’ve been increasing the weight each week as well.

295 x 4 x 10 (video 2) feel drained from the squats

Larsen Press
310 x 3 x 8 (video 3) overshot my RPE on this one. A little optimistic that I would be able to increase both comp and this, this week.

3 sets of 2 at the heaviest weight I've ever attempted to squat at 275.... Past tired after 9 hours of work.. forgot my shoes..hurt back..but we are powerlifters, we dont stop when we are tired..we stop when we're done... 2nd set I let my tiredness get to me and didnt fight for that second rep. 3rd set, I made sure I stood up both times..not quite depth but considering the circumstances I can accept it today.... "Щиты"🛡️ а стоит ли? (Часть 1.).

В последнее время⏰, а точнее в последние пару лет📆, мода на тело "как у того/той со сцены" преодолела все мыслимые и немыслимые границы.
И, если курсящими стероидами💉 детьми👶, женщинами, а иногда даже бабушками👵 уже никого не удивишь, то просто сухая и качественная форма для многих, даже колящих тонны АС является недосягаемой, чаще всего из-за невменяемой диеты🍔🍦🍩.

Однако, есть "чудо -средства"💊, которые помогают избавиться от сала практически кому угодно, вот только вопрос какой ценой💲. И один из примеров того- тиреоидные (щитовидные) гормоны.

Малость физиологии, дабы понять как работают тиреоиды.
_________________________________________ Собственно "щиты"🛡️ , тироксин(Т4) и трийодтиронин(Т3) вырабатываются из аминокислоты тирозина в клетках щитовидной железы. Притом, около 70-80% от всей массы щитов приходится на биологически малоактивный тироксин(Т4), который под действием фермента монодейодиназы может благополучно переходить в активную форму(Т3).
Щитовидные гормоны взаимодействуют практически со всеми клиентами организма, повышая чувствительность рецепторов катехоламинов к ним самим. Тоесть, говоря простыми словами, на курсе "щитов" эффекты ⚡️адреналина, ⚡️норадреналина и ⚡️дофамина будут НАМНОГО сильнее, чем без них. ( Ака, всегда под предтреном😈).
Как итог происходит следующее:
-Усиливается термогенез🌡️
-Усиливается поглащение кислорода тканями🏃. -Усиливается гликогенолиз(распад гликогена) и тормозится его синтез , как в печени, так и в мясе💪🍗.
-Усиливается потеря жидкости организмом и ослабевает ее запасание в клетках.
Помимо этого "щиты" не плохо так стимулируют эритропоэз в красном костном мозге.
Как итог, основной энергообмен обмен увеличивается +/- на 50% и желанное сечение мускулатуры, наряду с возможностью кушать и не толстеть ПРИХОДИТ. Но побочки, о которых я расскажу вам в приложении статьи никто не отменял 😉.

I’ve had some upper back and neck pain the past couple of days from a pillow incident so I thought I’d delay my actual bench until tomorrow and tick this guy off today instead for extra recovery time 👍🏻. Close grip floor press is a cool variation for taking some load off your shoulders and back if they need some down time but you still get to work on the lock out of your bench (oh hey triceps). A lighter weight here as it’s usually one of my last bench variations of the week meaning I’ve already pressed (106 times to be exact) before floor pressing at varying loads.
